Still reeling from the devastating betrayal by her husband, Emma Callahan, a renowned professional photographer, is finding it difficult to focus on her work and rebuild her life. There’s got to be more to life than just photographing deliriously happy newlyweds.

Ellenor Snow is a best-selling author of more books than she can count. But with this recognition comes the responsibilities of book tours and speaking engagements for each new book. Constantly meeting expectations is leading to burnout, a condition she tries to hide with heavy drinking and partying, creating an unsustainable and unhealthy lifestyle.

Will this reunion unveil surprising, and possibly deeply buried, aspects of their characters and life stories, potentially revealing things that have remained hidden from each other until now? The question remains: Will these revelations strengthen or sever what they think is an unbreakable bond?
